Pilcza Castle was built in the mid-14th century as one of the Eagles’ Nests to provide protection of Polish-Silesian border.
The castle well was allegedly dug by Tartar prisoners.

Pilcza Castle was destroyed by the Swedish army in 1655. It has been in ruins since them.
